Terms of Service

• You must provide accurate registration information, including your birth date.
• Users under 13 may only use GameOn with verifiable parental consent. Their account remains inactive — unable to join games, message other users, or complete a profile — until a linked parent or guardian approves it. See our Privacy Policy for details on the consent process and parental rights.
• A parent or guardian who links a child’s account is responsible for reviewing and approving that child’s use of the Service and can revoke consent at any time, which deactivates the child’s account.
• Coach and venue-owner accounts are subject to additional verification described in Section 5.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Notify us promptly at support@game-on.app if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• You may not create an account using another person’s identity or false information.

When using GameOn, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
• Post or send unlawful, abusive, or sexually explicit content, including to or about minors.
• Misrepresent your skill level or identity in a way that endangers other participants.
• Attempt to circumvent parental consent controls on a minor’s account.
• Use the Service for any fraudulent or illegal purpose, including payment fraud.
• Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the Service’s security or availability.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and reports involving the safety of a minor are prioritized for review.

• Game hosts are responsible for accurately describing their game (sport, skill level, location, and fees) and for managing participants, including approvals and cancellations.
• Venue availability shown in the app is provided by venues or venue owners and may change; GameOn does not guarantee venue availability.
• Per-player fees, when charged, are calculated using the pricing model the host selects (e.g. equal split or fixed fee) and are described before you join a paid game.
• Cancellations and refunds for game or venue fees follow the refund policy shown at the time of booking. Platform fees may be non-refundable where disclosed.

• Coaches on GameOn are independent providers, not GameOn employees. GameOn facilitates discovery, scheduling, and payment for coaching sessions but is not a party to the coaching relationship.
• Coach profiles may display verification badges (e.g. identity or certification verification). Verification reflects documentation reviewed by GameOn and is not a guarantee of a coach’s performance or conduct.
• Session bookings, cancellations, and refunds follow the cancellation policy set by each coach and displayed before booking.

• Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe’s terms in addition to ours.
• GameOn charges a platform fee on paid games and coaching sessions, disclosed before you complete a payment.
• Hosts and coaches receive payouts to their connected Stripe account, minus applicable platform fees, according to our payout schedule.
• All fees are shown in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

You retain ownership of content you submit (profile information, messages, reviews). By submitting content, you grant GameOn a license to host, display, and transmit it as necessary to operate the Service. Messages sent to or from a minor’s account may be visible to that minor’s linked parent or guardian, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for GameOn or other users, or as required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations and limitations of liability) will survive.

GameOn helps users find and organize games, venues, and coaching sessions, but does not supervise in-person activities. You participate in games, venues, and coaching sessions at your own risk. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GameOn is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including injuries occurring during games or sessions arranged through the app.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which GameOn is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection law provides otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the app or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
